There’s good old fashioned overexposure, and then there’s the Stranger Things press tour. I hate to imagine which one of these poor, poor kids will snap first, and scream “I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE” at James Corden from the passenger seat of a carpooling SUV, rolling out midway through the chorus of “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” or something.

In addition to the grueling, Hunger Games-esque press obligations Netflix has put these teens through, many of them somehow find the time to be in bands. Finn Wolfhard, occasional PUP music video star and friend of Mac DeMarco, is starting his own band that could very well be A Thing. Joe Keery, who plays new fan favorite Steve Harrington, is also still involved with his old band, Post Animal. Millie Bobbie Brown likes to rap. Now, there’s another one.

Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson on the show, is also apparently in a band, as notes. They’re aptly called Work in Progress, as their Instagram only has three posts and one performance video (blurry footage of the band covering Pearl Jam’s “Porch”).

I like Stranger Things and Spielberg nostalgia and rock and roll. I also don’t want these kids to be driven into the ground before they’re old enough to legally drink or rent a car. Somebody, give ‘em a break!
