Lana Del Rey’s concert in Orlando, Florida went on in a relatively uneventful fashion Friday night—after police received a tip about a 43-year-old man who posted several messages about the singer online and arrested him, charging him with aggravated assault and attempted kidnapping with a weapon.

In a statement, the Orlando police department said they were contacted about threats made by Michael Hunt and “considered the information to be a credible threat, and took investigative measures to locate Hunt.”

Thankfully, the creep never met Del Rey. He never even made it inside the venue. Police approached Hunt about one block away from the Amway Center where Del Rey, real name Elizabeth Grant, was set to perform. Hunt was carrying a 3-inch folding knife, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Hunt posted several times about Del Rey on his Facebook page, and repeatedly referencing a plan to leave his home and join her on the road. According to the Sentinel, in one video, Hunt talks about how he’s going to “probably finish out her tour with her, obviously, and dance and talk and figure out what we’re going to do.”

Del Rey tweeted on Sunday, thanking her followers for reaching to her during this time, and looking forward to her next show, Monday night, in Atlanta:
