The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards will take place this Sunday, March 11, and some interesting shit is scheduled to go down: Weirdly, Bon Jovi will receive an award for his 35-years-long-and-still-going career. (Does this have anything to do with his album scoring the top spot in the country this week?) Chance the Rapper will receive something called the 2018 Innovator Award for—my guess—making good music and giving it away for free (not inaccurate, but so 2016). Camila Cabello will be the first ever artist to receive the award show’s Fangirls Award, the title of which I don’t really love and I also don’t understand why it’s “presented by L ‘Oréal Paris.” Also: Taylor Swift will be debut her music video for “Delicate” during the awards show. We’ll all have to tune in to watch (though, I’m guessing, it will be online later).
Here’s how to do just that: The red carpet starts at 6:30 p.m. EST, and you can watch that live on iHeartRadio’s Facebook. The award show begins at 8 p.m. EST, which you can watch (if you’re the kind of person who pays for cable and has a TV) on TBS, TNT, or truTV.
If you’re the kind of person who uses a friend/family member/ex-boyfriend/college roommate’s cable subscription login to watch TV (or you pay for cable but don’t have a TV!), you can also watch on the TBS, TNT, and truTV apps. iHeartMedia radio stations will also broadcast the award show, if you just want to listen to it, which I guess could be nice?
What moments of scandal and/or fan outrage will everyone be talking about on Monday? If you tune in, you’ll have a better chance of finding out! Science.
