This morning, Justin Timberlake shared an album teaser on Twitter, detailing his first full-length record since The 20/20 Experience 1 and 2 in 2013. The new album, slated to drop February 2 (just two days before his Super Bowl performance) is titled Man of the Woods because JT is a wild guy now! In the minute-long clip, his producer pal Pharrell makes an appearance and JT describes the release as follows: “This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any album I’ve ever written, where I’m from. And it’s personal.”

It’s a little weird considering that JT was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and relocated when joining the Mickey Mouse Club in 1993 at 12 years old, but hey, if JT says he’s from the wilderness, he’s from the damn wilderness. Manifest Destiny!

Will this woodsy theme make an appearance at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show, 14 years after his infamous performance with Janet Jackson, the “wardrobe malfunction” that defined 2004? Who is to say. All that we hope for is an apology to JJ, and maybe some camping tips.

Do you think Justin is Lumbersexual now? Could he survive in the wild? Let us know!
