Cameron Boucher, frontman of the popular emo band Sorority Noise, has been accused of rape. Late Monday night musician Nicole Schoenholz—who currently performs as One Hundred Year Ocean and used to play with The World Is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die—posted an allegation on her personal Facebook page, following Boucher’s recently announced hiatus for Sorority Noise and screamo side project Old Gray. She wrote “goodnight rapist screamo band,” and referred to both projects and Boucher, personally, by their initials in a comment. The post was soon deleted, but a screenshot made its way to Reddit, where a user claiming to be Schoenholz further detailed the allegation.

“My friend stayed the night with Cam while he was in college and she woke up to Cam fucking her while she was asleep. This isn’t a unique situation or one off ‘missed step,’” she wrote.

Boucher issued a statement on Tuesday, denying the allegation:

We’ve reached out to representatives for Boucher and Schoenholz and will update this post accordingly.
