Harry Styles is many things: a former boy band member, incredibly good-looking, apparently not talented enough for the Grammys, Britain’s most important cultural export, a brilliant solo musician straddling the pop and rock music divide, someone who can pull off a variety of hair styles. But is he also Shania Twain’s long lost twin? Maybe. In an interview with ET Online, Styles alluded to Twain as his fashion and music inspiration:
“I think both music and fashion, [my] main influence was probably Shania Twain,” the “Sign of the Times” singer admitted. “Yeah, I think she’s amazing.”
They’re both amazing, probably tied in first place for Best Person on the Planet, so it doesn’t surprise me to hear that Styles looks up to Twain. Look at them:
I’m not saying they’re the same person, but have Harry Styles and Shania Twain ever been photographed together? Seen in the same room? Appeared on a much-needed joint album of covers, including “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” and literally any One Direction song? I didn’t think so. The proof is in the pudding, folks. Case closed.
